UC Berkeley Black Alumni of Southern California
2008 SUMMER BEACH BASH-August 2nd in Long Beach
About Us:
We are a network of UC Berkeley Black Alumni in Southern California that have organized to share memories, information and valuable resources.  You are probably fully aware that the African American population at Berkeley today has drastically reduced and we should all do our part in trying to increase those numbers.

We would like your assistance on a small scale....just sign the guest book and support an event or two or on a larger scale...going to your local high school and participating in the college fair; if you were an athlete how about accompanying a Cal recruiter to a prospective athlete's home (who attended your local high school) to talk about your experience at Berkeley as a student athlete.

There is so much we can do...Are there internship opportunities at your company that can be made available to recent black graduates or while black students are home for the summer?  We would like to hear about them.  Do you have a business or service that fellow Alumni could benefit from...Let's hear about it!  Our goal is to have the largest Black Alumni Network in Southern California.

Come out and participate in the events.  Reaquaint yourself with old friends, get to know familiar faces and also meet recent graduates and current students.

Have you heard?....On August 25, 2008 only 140 African American freshman and transfer students started Cal.  We need to do our part and get involved.  There is long list of college fairs for 2008-2009 and we are not representing ourselves.  Do you want to get involved and possibly make a difference in having students of color attend Cal.  WE CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE...GET INVOLVED...CHECK THE CALENDAR TO SEE HOW.
We need your email address...Sign the Guestbook.
